Baby Play & Development Gloves – Fun, Focus & Early Learning
Our sensory play & development gloves combine the two things that babies love most; fingers and high contrast images.
Engage Your Baby with Soothing Wave Patterns
There's not much newborn or young babies can play with until about 4 months when they can grasp things for themselves. Until then they are completely reliant on us for their amusement and entertainment! Whilst they love looking at black and white pictures, they also love watching the movement of hands and fingers. Our gloves put these together and give you a great productive activity to do with your baby. Think of it as baby workout for their eyes and brains! Spend quality time playing and bonding with your baby whilst aiding their development.
Did you know that as well as being stimulating for babies, black and white is also comforting and calming in their new overwhelming world!

🌈 Stimulate Early Visual Development
Newborns see high-contrast colors best during the first few months. It is the contrast stand out to help strengthen the retina and optic nerve connections.
👀 Encourage Focus and Attention
Bold patterns and contrasting shapes help babies learn to fix their gaze and track objects with their eyes.
🧠 Support Brain Development
High-contrast visuals activate the visual cortex and promote neural connections that aid in early cognitive growth.
🤲 Enhance Eye Coordination
Watching and following black-and-white toys helps babies practice visual tracking, laying the foundation for hand-eye coordination.
💫 Promote Calm and Engagement
Babies often find black-and-white toys soothing yet stimulating enough to keep their attention longer during wake windows.
🔲 Encourage Early Pattern Recognition
Exposure to repeating patterns (stripes, dots, shapes) supports visual discrimination skills and early learning readiness.
💞 Boost Bonding Time
Parents can use high-contrast toys during tummy time or face-to-face play to encourage interaction and eye contact.

Baby Play & Development Gloves (Wave)
These were bought as a Christmas present so I can’t comment specifically on how well they work in practice. However, as a long time special education teacher, I think they are a really clever idea. Babies and young children with developmental delays tend to be attracted to high contrast black and white images. They also usually love finger rhymes. So the gloves should focus their attention beautifully.
I’m so impressed with the quality of these gloves. My baby is mesmerised by them and keep her entertained for ages!
Definitely recommend!
